April 23 - 27, 2008
Frog Holler Rendezvous. 
Ft. Umpqua Muzzleloaders, near Oakridge, OR.  Canoe-in rendezvous.  Not open to public.  Pre-1840 gear and attire only.  (canoes may be modern)  More information: Tim Hayden 541.782.5946

May 28 - June 1, 2008

Columbia Diggins Tent Town 1852. 
Columbia, CA.  Open to public 10-5 daily.  Great family event.  4 miles north of Sonora in Tuolumne County, just off highway 49.  Admission charged.    Parking is free.  Call 209-588-9128 for further details.

June 13 - 22, 2008
Pacific Primitive Rendezvous,
near Paisley, Oregon Pre-1840 Mountain Man event not open to general public.  Lots of shooting events, traders and horse camp.  If you're going to make just one pre-1840's rendezvous west of the Rockies, this is the one to make.  Co-Booshways: Dean Oliver (541) 365-4482  and Ralph "Stump" Torpin (541) 536-6050.

August 9 & 10, 2008
Brigade Encampment:  Fort Nisqually Living History Museum, Tacoma, WA.
Open to public.  Loose interpretation of 1855 HBC fur brigade in early Washington Territory.  Many hands on opportunities for youth visitors.  Music - games - A good family event.

October 3 & 4, 2008
Candlelight Tour,

October 24 & 25, 2008
Bonfires, Beaver Pelts and Bogeymen, Fort Nisqually Living History Museum, Tacoma, WA.
