Mart Taylor and his Original Company is based on an authentic historical personage who entertained throughout the California gold camps of the 1850s.

This one man show is offered primarily as an outdoor presentation to
complement 19th Century reenactments or themed events. This is an expanded version of the "19th Century
Musical Performance" complete with tent and printed programs.
A performer's wall tent is pitched with buntings and banners as a back drop. A "first person" living history 19th Century camp can be maintained for single or multi-day events. Between formal presentations an active 19th century living history camp with cooking implements and other accoutrements remains on display.
The authentic musical portion of the program (the Show) is approximately 30
minutes with an additional 15 to 20 minutes for questions and answers. The Show can be presented every few
hours during the day.
Basic one day fee is $400.00; multiple day events add $200.00. per
day.
