These are nice razors! The blades on these razors are the same as the
$90.00 razor, but the scales, in stead of olive wood, are made from a
polymer composite called cellidur. This is the best functional blade you can
buy and with proper care, it will last you a lifetime. The
scales are glossy black, but with a little 00 or 000 steel wool you can rub
them down to a satin appearance similar to the old bone handled razors.
I can sometimes get these with blond colored scales, but at present all I
have in inventory is black.
When you consider the cost of modern razors and the monthly expense of
disposable blades, this razor will pay for itself in no time.
